We love some Wall-E at my house...

Yes I am a sucker for a great Disney flick. We have seen Wall-e at least 500 times since we got the DVD for Christmas. Cade and Kaley were enacting the part. I left my stamp pad way too accessable. Cade made himself EVE and put both the stamp pads on his eyes. I didn't get a picture of that I did get the evidence pic though and some random snow day pics Look at Cade's pretty gloves...We couldn't find his ao we used Kaley's

First Blog ....

So in MOPS on Friday the discussion veered to blogging. I have been on the fence for awhile on creating my own blog. I thought that what I wanted/needed to say would be much too mundane to publish on the world wide web. But here I am and I had a great big amount of things to discuss but I think I'll just give what I'm thinking about right now instead.
I think that we as christians need to understand the responsiblity and the gift of prayer. God gives us prayer not only as a way to talk to him but as a very personal and powerful way to reach out and love on our neighbors as well. Throughout biblical history many miracles took place because of prayer. Three men in the fire and Daniel and the lion's den. I can only hope and imagine what could happen if we christians utilized this very personal and powerful way to improve our lives and ones around us. If we really truly gave our hearts a prayerful focus when we talk to our maker and allow him to start working his miracles. I think that some people pray because it's a habit( at meals, bedtime) I am going to pray with a focus on talking to god on a more personal level and not just the repetion of the traditional blessing or the Lord's prayer. I think that Jesus gave us that model to build upon.. and I pray that God will direct me and my praying heart in becoming a stronger pray partner with him.
